By working to learn, the aim was to bring the young graduates into weak graduates (the ones that are in the worst expectation of entering into the world of work) to approach the world and the real needs of the company. 100 trainees have been selected, graduates in Law, Economics, Letters and Philosophy, Communication Sciences. The composition was this: 73 women and 27 men. Internships lasted 8 months. The boys were busy for 24 hours a week. The project is funded by the ESF. The leader of the project is Confindustria Palermo in partnership with Acas, Centro Studi Noesis, Tertiary Bilateral Territory, For.Com, Med.Oro. At the end of this professional training experience, Confindustria has produced a report with all the results, which are "very satisfactory". Beyond the training, the Lavorando s'Impara project also had interesting employment reflexes provided for in the notice.
41% of trainees will be hired with various contractual formulas from 23 companies in the short term. 39% will be included in the long run if the company is to increase the staff. Only 20% of young people who have completed the project have no significant prospects for inclusion.
