On 16th and 17th September 2019 the partners of the MEDEDUC * project met in Catania for the 2nd transnational meeting, organized by the Italian partner Medoro. 13 people attended the meeting representing the six partners from France (Corsica), Italy, Spain, Greece and Croatia.

During the meeting, led by the representative of the course leader CPIE Céline Labbé, the situation was made with reference to the communication and dissemination activities and above all to the activities related to the realization of the first important output of the project, namely a referential didactic framework for the teachers of lower and upper secondary schools related to the 10 "environmental" disciplines identified as necessarily integrating within the ordinary school programs: waste and pollution, artificialisation of the coasts, biodiversity, cultural heritage, sea water quality, blue economy, global climate change, natural risks, governance, energy.

The partnership expressed great satisfaction with the quality and punctuality of the work done so far. The following steps were therefore established concerning the realization of the final version of the reference framework and the construction of the other two outputs of the project, that is a guide of the educational activities for teachers, students and environmental educators from Europe and the Mediterranean and a center of online teaching resources based on feedback from experiences relating to the entire Mediterranean basin and mainly focused on specific issues of environmental protection.

Finally, the participants had the opportunity to visit the suggestive "Cyclops Islands" Marine Reserve, on board the didactic boat of the Cyclops Islands Consortium, the managing body of the reserve.
