Last week in Acitrezza, a beautiful town on the Catania coast, a co-planning meeting on some possible socio-educational initiatives was held at the headquarters of the Marine Protected Area "Isole Ciclopi". At this meeting, in which various significant local public and private realities were represented including the Municipality of Acicastello, the Scholastic Institute Giovanni Falcone, the "Isole Ciclopi" Marine Protected Area, the Center  Mare Camp, Medoro had the opportunity to present  MED.EDUC project, carried out with the contribution of the European Erasmus Plus program and of which Medoro is a partner for Italy together with six other entities from France (Corsica), Italy, Spain, Greece and Croatia.

The president of Medoro Carmelo Messina particularly illustrated the success of the didactic experimentation carried out with about forty secondary school students in the Catania area as well as the characteristics of the digital educational resources center which will be completed by the summer.

The interest aroused in those present, who considered MED.EDUC a very useful reference for future local initiatives in the field of environmental education, of which the importance is always increasing, was really considerable.
